Palm Sunday is before Easter. In the Catholic Church, the priest sprinkles palm crosses with Holy water and blesses them. He then gives them to the congregation. On Palm Sunday Jesus rode on a donkey into Jerusalem. Lots of people were waving palm branches to greet him. The crowds were shouting Hosanna in the Highest.

Lots of people think Easter is about Easter Bunnies or even hot cross buns but it is really about remembering that Jesus died on the cross. Easter is about the blood of Christ and the body of Christ.  Pontius Pilate asked Jesus ‘Are you the king of the Jews?’. Jesus was put in a tomb after being on the cross. After three days he rose from the dead. He showed his hands to Thomas and he touched them. Jesus asked if he recognised him.

At Easter my sister and my father and I are going to go to Church. We have a roast dinner which Carol cooks and sometimes I help. We have roast.
